Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 Launched in India: Specs & Price

Today, Asus has officially launched two new smartphones in India – Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2. These are the successors to the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and Max M1. The new Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 will be available on Flipkart from 18th December 2018. Both the phones run on the Android 8.1 Oreo and come with dual rear-facing cameras.

The starting price of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is Rs 12,999 and Max M2 starts at Rs 9,999. Both the phones will give tough competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Honor 8C, Realme 2, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Realme U1, Honor 9N, and other mobiles coming under this price range.

The new Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 2280×1080 pixels resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. There’s a notch above the display which consists of the LED Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, Softlight LED flash, Earpiece, Notification LED light and a 13MP selfie camera.

In terms of performance and memory, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor along with the Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card slot.

Coming to the camera department, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting a 12-megapixel primary camera (f/1.8 aperture) with LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash.

The handset runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo. It comes with a huge 5000 mAh battery. The device supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.

The smartphone will be available in two different colors – Blue and Titanium. It will go on sale from 18th December 2018 via Flipkart exclusively.
