After launching the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, the company has launched Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro smartphone in China. The Redmi 6 Pro comes with an iPhone X like notch display, Dual rear-facing cameras and Face Unlock. The 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is priced at 999 Yuan. The model with 4GB RAM + 32GB storage costs 1199 Yuan and the model with 4GB + 64GB storage costs 1299 Yuan. In this article, we will tell you about the features of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. This is the first Redmi series phone to come with a notch display. The device is powered by the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage (Expandable up to 256GB via microSD card).

In terms of camera, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro features 12MP + 5MP dual rear-facing cameras with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. The rear cameras also feature Night Scene Enhancement, Standard HDR mode, Auto HDR and Software Video Stabilization (EIS). On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with Face Unlock, AI Portrait mode, AI smart beauty and HDR.

The Redmi 6 Pro runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9. It packs a 4000 mAh battery. The handset supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (dual-band 2.4GHz, 5GHz), GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope and infrared.

The dimensions of the phone are – 149.33mm x 71.68mm x 8.75mm. It weighs 178 grams. The smartphone is available in Black, Blue, Gold, Pink and Red color options. The sale will begin from 26th June 2018 in China. There’s no information regarding the release date of this phone in India.
