Meizu 16X Launched with In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, 6GB RAM & Snapdragon 710 SoC

Meizu has officially launched its latest smartphone called Meizu 16X in China. The new Meizu 16X has a unique design and comes with dual rear-facing, Snapdragon 710 chipset, in-display fingerprint scanner, and much more. The handset is 7.5mm slim and weighs 154g.

The starting price of Meizu 16X is CNY 2,100 (Around $300). It will be available in three different colors including gold, black and white.

The all-new Meizu 16X features a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage.

In terms of cameras, Meizu 16X has a dual camera setup at the back that has Portrait Mode, Optical Image Stabilization, Lazer autofocus, LED flash, etc. This dual camera setup includes a 12MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary sensor and a 20MP (2.6 aperture) secondary sensor. On the front, there’s a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also has AI Face Unlock support.

The handset runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo (based on Flyme OS). It packs a 3100 mAh battery that supports fast charging. For network & connectivity, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio port.

Meizu 16X Price

• Meizu 16X (6GB RAM + 64GB ROM) = CNY 2098
• Meizu 16X (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM) = CNY 2398

The Meizu 16X is priced at CNY 2098 for the variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at CNY 2398. It will go on sale on 26th September 2018 in China.
