Asus ZenFone 5Z Launched in India: Specifications and Price Details

The company unveiled the Asus ZenFone 5, 5Z and 5 Lite at the MWC 2018. And today, Asus ZenFone 5Z had launched in India. The Asus ZenFone 5Z will be available on Flipkart exclusively. The starting price of ZenFone 5Z is Rs 29,999. It comes with an Aerospace-grade aluminum body with a Zircon sandblasted premium finish. The phone comes with a display notch, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM and dual rear cameras.

Asus ZenFone 5Z Specifications and Price in India

The Asus ZenFone 5z features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (1080 × 2246 pixels) Super IPS display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It has 90% screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by a 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (Kryo 385) processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

In terms of camera, the Asus ZenFone 5Z features 12MP + 8MP dual rear-facing cameras with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 4K/UHD video recording, Night HDR and LED flash. On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. The front camera supports Face Unlock.

The ZenFone 5Z runs on the Android 8.0.0 Oreo. It packs a 3300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It offers up to 13.5 hours of HD video playback. The handset has 4G VoLTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/ 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, USB OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.

The Asus ZenFone 5z with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 29,999. The model with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM costs Rs 32,999 and the high-end model with 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage is priced at Rs 36,999. The smartphone will be available in India from Flipkart. It comes in midnight blue and meteor silver colors. At this price, this phone will compete with Honor 10 and OnePlus 6.
