Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has been launched in India. The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi always provides decent phones at low prices. Here are its two new budget smartphones. The Redmi Y1 is a selfie-centric smartphone which comes with a 16-megapixel front facing camera along with LED flash-light. Xiaomi has announced the new Redmi Y1 Lite along with Redmi Y1.

Redmi Y1 Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor. The phone has a 3GB/4GB of RAM along with a 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable by using a MicroSD card. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 runs the latest MIUI 9 on top of Android Nougat operating system. It has a 3080 mAh battery. In terms of camera, the Redmi Y1 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a selfie camera with LED flashlight. The camera has features like PDAF and autofocus. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Price

The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is priced at at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The Redmi Y1 will be available in Dark Grey and Gold color variants.

Redmi Y1 Lite Specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor. The phone has 2GB RAM along with 16GB of internal storage (ROM). Redmi Y1 Lite has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera. It is powered by a 3080mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite Price

The Redmi Y1 Lite will be available at a price of Rs 6,999 in India. Both the Xiaomi’s Redmi Y1 smartphones will be available on November 8, 2017. Redmi Y1 Lite will be available on Amazon and Mi store soon.
