After the leaks of the HTC Desire 12 Plus smartphone, today we have the specifications of the HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone HTC U12. The phone is codenamed as HTC Imagine. The new HTC U12 smartphone will feature the latest Snapdragon 845 processor, bigger display, and dual rear cameras. HTC U12 specifications indicate towards the HTC’s next flagship phone for 2018.

Features of HTC U12 – The new HTC U12 will feature a 6 inches Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 2880 × 1440 pixels. It will have an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It will come with Adreno 630 GPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will be running on the latest Android Oreo operating system.

The HTC U12 will feature dual rear cameras. It will come with 12MP + 16MP rear-facing cameras and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The device will support fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock functionality. The handset will come with a 3420 mAh battery and will support fast charging. HTC’s U12 will be IP68 certified water and dust resistant.

Release Date and Price – The device is rumored to be available by April or May 2018 for $880. The price may vary depending on the amount of RAM and storage. It’s expected to be released or officially announced by April 2018.
