Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact Leaked Specifications, Price and Release Date

Sony is expected to launch two new smartphones at MWC (2018) in Barcelona. The two new phones are Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. Both the phones will come with 18:9 aspect ratio displays, Snapdragon 845 processor, and the latest Android Oreo operating system.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Features & Specifications

The Sony’s upcoming phone Xperia XZ2 is going to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. At the front, the phone will have “S Force stereo speakers”.

The device will be operated by the latest Android Oreo operating system. Sony Xperia XZ2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and Adreno 630 GPU. It will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone will feature a 19MP primary rear camera and a selfie camera. The handset will have a 3180mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Features & Specifications

Xperia XZ2 Compact will come with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. The Xperia XZ2 Compact will have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It will come with the latest Android Oreo OS out of the box.

In terms of camera, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact will be featuring a 19MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. The device will have a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera and a 2870mAh battery.

According to the post on theINQUIRER, the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact will be available for buying from 6 March with pricing around £720 ($1005) and £530 ($740), respectively. So, the expected Price of Xperia XZ2 is £720 and Xperia XZ2 Compact will cost around £530.
