Sony Xperia XA2 Plus Announced with 6-inch Display & 23MP Rear Camera: Specifications and Availability

Sony has announced the new Xperia XA2 Plus mid-range smartphone. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a large 6-inch 18:9 display, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 630 SoC, and Sony’s Hi-Res Audio technology. The phone will come with Android Oreo out of the box.

The new Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. It has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. There’s a micro SD card slot for storage expansion up to 400GB.

In terms of camera, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a 23MP rear camera with LED flash. The primary camera has 4K movie recording. On the front, it has an 8MP 120° super wide-angle selfie camera with Portrait selfie mode.

The Xperia XA2 Plus runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs a 3850 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The phone also comes with Sony’s High-Resolution Audio Technology. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. Connectivity options include GPS + GLONASS, WiFi Miracast, Bluetooth® 5.0 wireless technology, Google Cast, NFC, FM radio and USB Type-C.
